Samaritas and Wellspring Lutheran Services

For almost 90 years, Samaritas has served others as an expression of the love of Christ with programs to help Michigan’s disadvantaged families and individuals thrive. Samaritas is the state’s largest foster care organization with a full suite of family preservation programs. Wellspring Lutheran Services is a Michigan-based statewide nonprofit that has been serving the needs of Michigan children, families and seniors since 1893. They also assist families to become licensed foster parents and have an array of child welfare programs. Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE)

The Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE) contains a statewide photo listing of all waiting children. It also provides several supportive resources and a calendar of statewide adoption related events. Please note that an approved adoption assessment is required before inquiries can be made on any photolisted youth. Learn more at Mare.org

Forever Home Run

The Forever Home Run is a 5K and 1K marathon that began in 2015 as a partnership between Legacy Adoption Services and Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church to raise awareness and funding to support foster children waiting for their forever families. Post Adoption Resource Centers (PARC)
& Subsidy Assistance

Post Adoption Resource Centers (PARC) are here to support you through the life-long journey of adoption. The centers provide individuals under the age of 21, who were adopted from Michigan’s foster care system or who were adopted in Michigan through an international adoption or direct consent/direct placement adoption and their families with support, education, training, advocacy, information, service coordination and case management services. Adoption medical subsidy is intended to assist with payment for necessary services related to the treatment of a physical, mental, or emotional condition certified by the Adoption and Guardianship Assistance Office (AGAO) of a child who has been placed for adoption. Related expenses may include therapies, prescriptions, medical supplies, or laboratory expenses. Michigan.gov

Wendy's Wonderful Kids

Ally Learning

Ally Learning is an education company partnered with the State of Michigan Department of Health & Human Services seeking to reach the educational goals of foster and adopted youth in the Metro-Detroit area as well as private students.
